Adidas x Gucci is the collaboration we’ve been waiting for!

At this point in fashion history, we're no stranger to a good old-fashioned collaboration. In fact, it would be fair to say that the fashion realm has been positively inundated with partnerships of late, from ever-reliable Uniqlo collabs to more unique meetings of minds, such as the oddly combined Lacoste x Minecraft (no comment). But, alas, not all collaborations are created equal, and the emblematic Adidas x Guccicollection has certainly made that crystal clear. 

A true lovechild of the two labels, the Adidas x Gucci collection sees a fantastical yet almost mathematic blending of the brands, as though there had been some biological “Guccidas” entity cooked up in a smoke-filled fashion laboratory. Pumped with logomaniac appeal, the collection captures the presence of both the Italian luxury megabrand and the nostalgic sportswear giant with a surplus of motifs, vintage references, and preppy touches, all wrapped up in a fanciful spectrum of vibrant colours.
